Well lighted room project boosts school morale and efficiency
The room was refurbished with white Velduro ceiling paint and surf green Velduro walls, new oil oak floor, and neutral sealant. Leader Electric installed three rows of two forty watt fluorescent fixtures, yielding about 60 foot candles with minimal glare. Local firms Ken's Electric of Preston and Utah Power and Light provided support and advice.

Stevenson Named to State Conservation District Post
The Franklin County soil conservation district approved Stevenge Stevenson to a one year term as supervisor at its regular meeting in the county agent’s office. The board noted 45 applications for technical assistance in land drainage and other practices and listed priority for aid. Ira Clark reported surveys completed on the Franklin Nashville drainage area and named district supervisors across Clifton Whitney Franklin Fairview Linrose and other areas.
