Christmas Fest At Preston Draws Huge Crowd

Smith Theron Ensign dies. LDS leader burial in Logan
Theron Ensign Smith of Cleveland died at Preston Memorial Hospital on Monday at 12 30 PM from a heart condition. Funeral services were held at 1 PM in the Cleveland ward chapel with burial in Logan cemetery. Born December 13 1893 in Logan, he married Letitia May Gray in 1915 and was a high priest in the LDS Church. Survivors include his widow three sons Theron Jr Norman Busby and Easton Ensign Smith, three grandchildren one sister Mrs ee Wash of Weston one brother G Unsign Smith of Salt Lake City five half brothers and an aunt sister Mrs Elva Keller.

Beatrice Rasmussen Larsen 67 died suddenly at a daughter's home last Tuesday. Born Mink Creek September 15, 1884, she married Ezra E. Larsen in the Logan LDS temple in 1904. She served in California on a church mission and led church groups. Survived by husband, two daughters Edith Bell and Elsie Keller, seven grandchildren, one great grandchild, and numerous Rasmussen siblings. Funeral Friday at 1 p.m. in the first ward church. burial in city cemetery.
