Father Son Survive Harrowing Night Lost in Hills
Jim Doyle aged 41 of Preston and his 12-year-old son Jay spent 24 hours lost in Strawberry canyon after separating from friends during a hunting trip. A rescue effort found them at dawn, guided by Sheriff Lee Hansen, and they walked to safety at the Gray ranch and were taken to Preston. Doyle had recently returned from Africa where he worked in construction.
