The East Side class A school district No. 201 in Franklin county plans a Tuesday Sept 5 election with polls from 1 to 6 pm. Voting precincts include Franklin Fairview Whitney Mink Creek Banida Winder Riverdale Jefferson Mapleton and others with special precincts for Oneida Riverdale and Preston electors. Two trustees will be chosen for three year terms. nominees must come from each precinct and current terms for O D Robinson and DeRalph Perry expire. Man Pleads Guilty To Fire Law Violation

Dial Telephones To Be Installed On West Side
Engineering is complete for a rural dial office on the west side of Franklin county to serve communities. Mountain States Telephone crews will start work soon on the dial equipment and trunk lines to Preston and west rural lines. Projected cost about 56000. The new dial office will connect west side subscribers without routing through Preston, while existing intercommunication remains for West side and Preston customers. Construction set to begin in September.

About 700 people from Franklin county and nearby areas were drawn from 6 700 applications for 500 permits to hunt antelope on September 10 and 11.
