The Preston Rodeo committee approved rehiring D A Swanny Kerby to produce the show for next year and set August 1 2 3 dates. They also approved Monte Young shows for next year. This year’s total rodeo purse was 447.50 with winners including Jim Steen Merle Lofthouse Bud Kerby Neal Arave and others across saddle bronc bareback bull riding and steer wrestling events.

Four County Water Organization Forms To Promote Bear River Development
A four county water users association named the Idaho Bear River Water Users Association was formed to push Bear River development. Franklin Oneida Bear Lake and Caribou counties named representatives. Lester P. Sears heads the group.
