Thirty five words describe Lois Miles a senior and mezzo soprano at Preston High School winning the Baugh Cup in an annual contest begun in 1940 by Worley and now sponsored by Baugh. Fire damages chicken coop at Parley Sears residence
Faulty wiring sparked a Sunday fire at the Parley Sears home on East Oneida. Firefighters arrived at 2 30 PM and contained the blaze in about two hours. Damage was estimated at 200 to 300 dollars.

Two Day Cooking School Planned by Power Company Dealers
