Trustee Election Set May 20 for Eastside District

Eastside School District schedules a trustee election for zones 2 and 3 on May 20. Terms for Robert Lindhardt in zone 2 and Dr Murray Nichols in zone 3 expire. Candidate filings close May 2 at 5 pm with the district office. Zone 2 covers Treasureton Banida Winder and north Preston. Zone 3 covers most of Preston. Voting takes place at Oakwood Elementary School. Only zone residents who are Idaho qualified electors may vote.

Saturday Night Speaker to Open LDS Seminar Series

William Nelson, curriculum advisor for LDS seminaries and institutes, will speak at Saturday night's Know Your Religion lecture. The session closes the winter series, beginning at 8 p.m. Tickets are available at the door for non season pass holders.

Linrose theft and senior dinner notices

Uless Nash reported gas and a new cowboy hat stolen from his Linrose ranch on April 12. It is unclear who took the items. A Franklin County Senior Citizens dinner is set for Saturday at the Robinson Fairgrounds with a noon meal and a Pitcher family program from Trenton afterward. Attendees should bring their own utensils and plates.

Franklin County Pageant Saturday Night At School
