Annual Miss Franklin County Pageant Set For Saturday
The Miss Franklin County Pageant returns this Saturday in Preston High auditorium at 8 p.m. Nine contestants vie for the crown, with Maurine Forsgren passing the title to the winner. Competitors include Westover, Spackman, Gilbert, Hart, Butterworth, Evans, Zen da Hart, Rawlings, and Nielsen performing talents from piano to dancing.

The Mormoniers, a teenage singing group from Preston, will appear on the Eugene Jeles nik show on KSL-TV at 4 30 Sunday afternoon. Public votes could send them to sing for Ted Mack in Salt Lake in May. Directed by Mrs Thomas Jensen the group includes girls aged 13 to 16.
