TV trial Teems with drugged witness in Zamora case
The Zamora murder trial opened amid allegations a defense psychiatrist administered a drug to the 15 year old defendant during a night visit to the Dade County Detention Center. Attorney Ellis Rubin said the substance was a drug hypnotic used to induce paranoia. A pharmacist said sodium amytal is a sleep aid, not a truth serum, though it might be used with hypnosis.
