A proposal protesting auto insurance premium computations was tabled by the Lakewood City Council. The move suggests no action soon. Los Angeles County Supervisor Kenneth Hahn led the charge alleging urban residents face higher rates, while Councilman G C DeBaun noted insurers cite accident frequency and higher claims as reasons.
