Price aide would lift rent lids on controls reform
Robert Lanzillotti urged a modified 1973 stabilization plan proposing end to rent controls and removal of retail price controls, plus elimination of the profit margin rule. He recommended tighter cost pass-through and a possible merger of the Price Commission and Pay Board to cut inflation. He spoke at the National Economists Club, stressing he spoke for himself.
