Witnesses place Angela Davis at San Rafael crime site
Three prosecution witnesses testified that Angela Davis and Jonathan Jackson visited a gas station opposite the Marin County Civic Center the morning of August 6 1970 seeking help starting a stalled van. The next day Jackson and three others were killed in a yellow van at roughly the same spot. The state accuses Davis of aiding Jackson in an escape plot and relates her to George Jackson. Witnesses identified Davis in photos and at the courtroom, while defense challenged these identifications.
