One Way Plan Favored for Wilmington B and C Streets
Eileen Pulliam of the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce told the Harbor Commission the chamber backs the one way proposal for B and C streets through downtown. The City Planning Commission had favored widening B Street at about 3 million dollars, a move that would cost owners property and relocation. The chamber estimates the one way plan would cost around 800 thousand. The Harbor Commission referred the chamber request for study by the general manager.
