Two-week search ends in Tenerife for U.S. couple
Rescue crews found the bodies of Mr. and Mrs. John L. Tox, both aged 64 and 63, from Chester Springs, Pennsylvania, after a road cave in and a landslide buried their rented car near Santa Cruz. The couple had been missing since February 27 while staying at a Santa Cruz hotel en route to the coast. The U.S. embassy identified them and said the wreck occurred after a cave in collapsed onto their car.
