Edwards testifies on Korean gift to wife in House probe
Louisiana Governor Edwin Edwards told reporters behind closed doors that his wife Elaine accepted a $10,000 envelope from Korean wheeler dealer Tongsun Park in 1971 after Edwards refused the money. He said Park offered the money as a contribution and that he had no direct dealings with Park or Park Chung Hee.
