Brown accuses Legislature of stalling LNG terminal plans
Governor Brown accuses the Legislature of stalling on a liquefied natural gas terminal in California. The Goggin bill would require a PUC ruling on the offshore site while allowing the Coastal Commission to designate an onshore site. Brown defends quick action, saying LNG is needed by the early 1980s as supplies tighten, and rejects claims of pressure from his family.
