Reward in effect for two Wilmington murders
A $2,000 reward is in effect for information leading to the conviction of the killer of Marine corporal Forace William Chirk, 19, stationed at Camp Pendleton, stabbed to death in Wilmington on Christmas Day. His body was found beside a dirt road to a junk yard at 31 Sampson Ave. The second case involves cab driver Michael A. Miller, 27, of Downey, killed June 3. He was shot twice in the back in the 200 block of East Reeve Street.
