Volcano De Fuego Erupts Near Antigua Guatemala
The De Fuego volcano in Guatemala erupted Tuesday night showering dust and pebbles over a wide area. No casualties were reported as American tourists and Guatemalans fled Antigua. The 10,700 foot volcano sits about 10 miles southwest of Antigua and 7T miles from Guatemala City. The eruption was the most violent in 25 years with fire columns visible for over 30 miles and lava streams cascading from the cone.

Passengers slugged as two youths held up Santa Fe train
Police tied two recently discharged Marines to a Santa Ana train robbery after threats and a slugging left several passengers fundraising up. About 411 victims were Marines en route home. No Deaths in Collapse of Building in Rio de Janeiro
Firemen reported no deaths after the 11 story building collapsed spilling rubble onto a main shopping street on Tuesday.
