Tragic ferry accident near Hastings claims young woman
A young woman, Inez Muanat, resident of P Felt's family, fell from a ferry gangplank into the river and drowned after a failed rescue attempt. The incident occurred Saturday afternoon as she crossed toward Hastings. Efforts to resuscitate failed. she was buried the following day. Next week temperance lectures by Peter Sinclair are announced with Bands of Hope participation and a campaign package offer from the Evening Post.
