Train collision interrupts morning work near Prescott
A work train struck the caboose of a northbound fast mail near Prescott around 7:30. The impact damaged the caboose and engine, delaying No. 2 by about 30 minutes. No serious injuries reported, and the train continued north after the delays. Elks lodge initiations at Hope drew praise and a well-attended banquet.
