City Council Keeps Meeting Minutes In City Office
Last night the city council at Recorder Logan's office met with all members present except Alder Scott and Wright. Nick Peay proposed a committee to survey sewerage costs with him. The street committee was assigned to oversee the project. The town treasury was ordered to be investigated by the Military Committee. The Culture Club petition to remove the park shed was approved and the shed sold and removed. Mayors urged warrants for delinquent street taxes. Accident injures man as mule team bolts past store
This afternoon about 3 o clock Lee Hamilton son of Andy Hamilton of Albany township drove a team of mules. The animals grew frightened at a train and bolted down Elm Street. Hamilton was thrown in front of J B Jordan's store and serious internal injuries were reported. He struck his head and shoulders and remains in serious condition.
