Judge continues murder case in Texas venue change
Galveston June 1 Judge Street of the Fifty six District Court today continued the State of Texas versus George Tier charged with the murder of William Black an anti Catholic lecturer at Marshall February 3 1915 the case was sent here on change of venue The case against John Copeland and George Ryan in the Tenth District Court will be passed on tomorrow It is expected they also will be continued.

President Signs Militia Pay Bill Saturday

Pay scales range from private at 48 dollars to captain at 500 dollars yearly, with full regular pay on duty. Killed Step Son Pardoned by Governor Conditions
