Washington June 4 Under an agreement by party leaders senators and representatives will attend national conventions and Congress will do little but mark time. The Senate will meet only to recess and the house will stay in session for routine business by unanimous consent. Many members have left for Chicago with more likely to follow to St Louis shrinking capitol attendance to its lowest in years. Speaker Clark Democratic Leader Kitchin and Republican Leader Mann will remain in Washington during the convention period.

Dr R L Hinton Pioneer Citizen Dead
Dr R L Hinton aged 86 died yesterday morning at the home of his daughter Mrs H B Dorris East Walnut and Third streets after a brief illness. He was long a business leader in Prescott proprietor of Hinton Drug Company and a leading physician, later fitting glasses. Survived by two sons A Hinton and L E Hinton and two daughters Mrs H B Dorris and Mrs Will Brown. Funeral services held at First Methodist Church at 2:30 pm with both active and honorary pallbearers named.
