Reorganization Act for Ohio Penitentiary Directors and Warden
Ohio General Assembly enacts a thorough system for the Ohio Penitentiary. Three directors are appointed by the governor with terms up to three years, with oaths, salaries, and rules. They appoint a warden, deputy, chaplain, physician, and staff, oversee finances, contracts, labor arrangements, and health, and enforce discipline under specified penalties.
