Polk High Class of 1965 Sees 17 Pursue Further Education

Seventeen of 28 graduates continue in higher education across various schools and colleges as the Polk class of 1965 moves into full swing. Several attend Kearney State, the University of Nebraska, Wesleyan in Lincoln, or out of state schools. others take employment or marriage paths.

Polk Triumphs In High-Scoring Victory At Genoa

Pink and Blue Shower Honors Mrs Gene Wood

About 50 women attended a pink and blue shower at the Baptist church parlors Tuesday evening September 21 honoring Mrs Gene Wood. Gifts were opened, a brief program followed with scripture, prayer, musical numbers by a girls trio and a mixed quartet, poems read, and pink and blue decorations and lunch completed the event.
