Sundberg Rent Crow’s Drug Store Building Moves Ahead

Sundberg and Son rent the former Crow Drug Store building and plan to move part of their hardware stock there for more display room. The town also hosts a freemelon melon event with two tons ordered for public service from noon to five. Numerous local residents travel, visit kin, and attend weddings as summer turns to fall.

Local Hills Attend Weekend Gatherings Across Nebraska

Mr and Mrs Cliff Hill of North Platte Mr and Mrs James Hill of Callaway Mr and Mrs Don Hill of Broken Bow and Mrs Ruth Allison with granddaughters of Stromsburg visited Mrs Abbie Green Saturday. Miss Natalie Hahn served as bridesmaid in a sorority sister's wedding at the Catholic Church in To Bias. She spent Friday with Joyce Bruha in Dorchester.

Osceola Social Notes Highlight Local Visits

Mr and Mrs Gerald Holm and a family of Osceola were Sunday evening guests of Mr and Mrs Russell Fisell. Mrs Chas Lytle spent the weekend in Lincoln visiting relatives. Mr and Mrs Wilbur Crown of Central City were dinner and afternoon guests of Mr and Mrs Grant Willits Sunday. Bridget Ruzicka arrived home from Los Angeles Wednesday, visiting relatives. Misses Sharon Stevens Judy Johnson and Sharon Adelson entered Nebraska Wesleyan University Thursday. Dr C R Peterson returned to his Osceola home.

Local Family Visits Fill Weekend in Panhandle Area

Mrs Oscar Gustafson spent the weekend at the Richard Gustafson home while many relatives visited across towns. Guests included Til lie Johnson with Milton and family in Colorado Springs and Reuben Hanquist and family in North Platte with Rev Virgil Nyberg and a Denver friend. The line up includes Nybergs, Gustafsons, Dittmers, and other area families visiting lakeside, farms, and relatives from Dalton to Hastings and Osceola with multiple dinners and a walleye catch at Johnson Lake.
