Edna Sundberg and family donate 25 dollars in memory of J R Sundberg to the Community Hall Fund. Kansas Nebraska Gas Co adds 10 dollars to the Summer Recreation Fund. Wayne Swanson pays 62.69 to repair the electric scoreboard and records the payment as a contribution to the Summer Recreation Fund. He also praises Tony Warnick and the coaches for another successful season.
Angie and Amy Anderson, twin daughters of Mr and Mrs Dennis Anderson of Lincoln, were baptized Sunday at St John’s Catholic Church in Lincoln. Sponsors were Larry Anderson Janet Beck and Mr and Mrs Gary Gonsier of Columbus. Dinner guests included the Andersons Reuben Anderson Walter Nielsen Allan Nielsen of Walthill.

Tom Carlstrom returned home Wednesday after a twelve day stay following surgery at Osceola hospital. Enoch Peterson remains admitted at Osceola hospital. Ralph LaVelle is a patient at Bryan Memorial Hospital in Lincoln. Mrs Lyle Dornburgh is a patient at St Elizabeth hospital.
Nathan Lee Neuhaus was born Friday August 29 at St Elizabeth Hospital in Lincoln to Mr and Mrs Darwin Neuhaus. He weighed 8 pounds 2 ounces. Grandparents include Mr and Mrs Walter Nielsen and Mr and Mrs Arnold Neuhaus. Additional visitors and guests were listed from Sutter California, Omaha, Valley, Peoria Arizona, and Lincoln as part of family and social circles.
