Polk County Pioneer Laid To Rest Tuesday Afternoon
Funeral services for John Fillman 83 a Polk county pioneer were held Tuesday afternoon at the First Baptist church in Stromsburg. Burial followed at Osceola. He came from Sweden in the early 1880s and made Polk county his home. Survived by three sons J W Millman Osceola E V Fillman Omaha Henry L Fillman York and one daughter Mrs B Cumming Polk.
