County Treasurer of Polk County Nebraska announces a public sale of lands and town lots for delinquent taxes and special assessments. The sale begins November 1 1965 at 9 AM in the County Treasurer's Office Osceola and continues daily until all properties are offered.
Emmanuel Alm of Mt. Vernon Washington and brother Dewey Alm of Los Angeles visited Stromsburg and surrounding farms for the weekend. They called on the Widga and Stromberg households and were hosted by Ed Coover and Emil Johnson. Other weekend guests included Everett Goertzen of West Point and Ben Beetem of Central City.
