Hordville Happenings and Wyoming City History Notes
Supper guests at the Everett Blender home included Mrs John Bush and Andrew and the Howard Bush family as they celebrated Kent Blenders second birthday. A church dedication followed for purchased furniture and improvements with Rev Paul Lundgren guest speaking. Community members and families shared visits across Hordville and surrounding towns, with birthdays, housewarmings, and club lessons noted. The Wyoming city records recount its 1850s layout, Dawson led platting, early stores, mills, the Wyoming Telescope, Mormon outfitting, and the town’s extinction by 1936.
