Osprey with Fish among Platte River Birding Trip

Swede Lind and I logged a Saturday birding drive along the Platte river road noting 42 sparrow hawks in three hours and spotting an osprey clutching a fish. We observed many warblers and woodpeckers, and counted nighthawks, blue heron, and other species amid rainy September and autumn color.
