The Junior Class presented the annual class play Just Dutky to a capacity crowd on Tuesday night November 25. John Eketrom presented a gift to Miss Bernice Anderson between acts. Dr. Allen P. Berkhardt is set to give the commencement address to the class of 1948 on May 19. Four Polk cheerleaders sponsor Mrs. Stromberg and the Pep Club President will attend a district cheerleaders clinic in Columbus on December 6 with Nance Merrick Colfax Butler and Platte Counties. The clinic aims to improve spectator behavior and interschool relations. Pep Club treasury handles registration and fees. This week marks the six weeks ending tests with report cards to be handed out next Wednesday.
