About 150 attended the Arborville Congregational Church 95th year observance on Sunday afternoon November 7. A program and a rededication service were held. Exhibits of old Bibles pictures song books and record books were displayed. Lunch and a social hour followed.

At Clarks last Tuesday Polk volleyballers swept two wins and one loss. Freshmen posted 15-6 and 15-5 led by Jeanelle Carlson with 10 points. Reserves dominated 15-1 and 16-5 with Becky Carlstrom scoring nine. Varsity won set one 15-9 but dropped the next two 11-15 and 14-16 as Pam Harless led the losers with 13.

The American Legion Auxiliary met in the Legion Hall on Monday evening November 8. President Mrs Ed Saylor conducted the business session and Louise Logston read the treasurer’s report in Beverly Bills’ absence. The group voted to donate to multiple funds and Dr. a Rehabilitation committee update featured articles for Omaha Veterans Hospital. Sgt.
