Polk Cubs Tie Silver Creek In Defensive Football Duel

Pvt Jay Shaw completes course at Fort Gordon Ga

Pvt. Jay E. Shaw son of Wendell G. Shaw Polk completed a 14 week manual office repair course at the Army Southeastern Signal School Fort Gordon Ga on November 5. The 18 year old soldier is a Polk High School graduate and was employed by Farmers Co op Grain Elevator Polk before entering the Army in April 1965. He was last assigned at Fort Leonard Wood Mo.
