Obituary of William Wendell Norton
William Wendell Norton was born near Polk Nebraska on December 24 1900 to John N and Selma J Norton. He graduated Polk High School in 1918 and served in the United States Army before earning degrees from the University of Nebraska Teachers College in 1922 and the College of Law in 1925. He married Catherine Eleanor Hayden on June 3 1925 and had two sons James Neal and William Hayden. Norton taught and served as athletic director in Pierce and later Osceola public schools before the obituary note references a continuation on page 4.
