Mr and Mrs Clarence Creech and daughters hosted a supper guests a week ago Monday honoring Janice Creech turning 16. Mrs C Marvin Fredrickson and Jane were Sunday dinner guests of Mrs K L Stewart. Mr and Mrs Roger Gustafson visited Don Shoup's home on Wednesday evening.
Polk locals Mr and Mrs Carl Christiansen and Jolene of Lincoln spent the weekend at the Larson home and were guests of Mr and Mrs Leroy Nelson. Esther Peterson and several other ladies joined Mrs Sadie Clark for Sunday dinner and luncheon.
The Hordville Senior class presented How Could You Mom May 4 with cast members Linda Gustafson Larry Bengtson Bertha Holtorf Sally Persons Speedy Harold Ortegren Joe Tyler Sharon Benson Elton Flodman Bob Shoup Marcene Garner Rodney Timmons and Sandy Blase. Elton Flodman and Bob Shoup led two songs and a trio sang between acts. Harold Ortegren gave an appreciation speech to director Miss Erickson. Mrs Wilmer Bodine visited Columbus with her daughter Gene Jones family.
