In Millard last Thursday April 26 Polk Schools musicians earned elev en 1s nine 2s and four 3s. Top scorers included Karen Stevens with 1s in horn and vocal solo and Delores Willits with 1s in vocal solo and drum. Other ratings featured Doug Sundberg 2 Natalie Hahn 1 and several ensembles such as Triple Trio Sextette and Trio posting 1s. Norman McIntosh directs the district music program.

P-TA hears talk by Bradshaw teacher Miss Patsy Jansen
Miss Patsy Jansen spoke to a small P-TA audience on April 25 and showed slides. She has summer work teaching cerebral palsied patients at the Largo Institute in Wichita and is Bradshaw's first grade teacher. The eighth grade won the attendance banner for the month and year, now in its third straight year. Third grade won the membership banner for this month and sixth grade for the year.
