In fond reminiscence the writer recalls Arnon Dover a Polk community figure. He clerked at A. O. Monson Clothing Store lived and worked on a farm near Polk and later sold lightning rods. He enjoyed fiddling a political stance praising Democrats while enduring Republicans. He remained active despite aging illness and retirement limits.
