Polk Community Chorus Plans Midweek Rehearsals
The Polk Community Chorus schedules two midweek practice sessions with the men’s section on Tuesday and a full chorus rehearsal Thursday at the school auditorium following church practices. Sunday’s rehearsal is planned at the school unless weather moves it to a church auditorium. Director Miss Leota Sneed and pianist Miss Phyllis Behrens lead, aiming for 100 percent attendance from the young ladies.

Obituary of Rev John L Hedbloom dies in Denver
Rev John L Hedbloom former Polk Nebraska pastor 1927 to 1935 died March 14 in Presbyterian Hospital Denver after a several week illness. Born October 30 1864 in Kewanee Illinois he lived in Stromsburg Nebraska before ministry at Stromsburg Polk Longmont Brighton and Denver Bethel Church. He retired 1936 moved to Denver then Baghton with daughter. Survived by two daughters Ruth Hedbloom and Mrs C B Millen, a grandson Keith Millen and great grandson Gregory Millen.
