Dr Slasser sought Lincoln medical advice for his hip on Sunday. Mrs Mills visited Lincoln while a car crash near town injures three, no serious harm. Community members attend funerals, school tournaments, and state meetings. Local workers move homes, surgery, travel to Lincoln Central City and Beatrice noted. Women’s Club met, and cattle market activity observed with stock sale announced.
Ernest C. Nelson pastor leads a Stromsburg Mission District meeting at Fridhem Lutheran Church with Sunday school worship services and multiple midweek gatherings. Herbert Bankson Carl Johnson and Marie Weburg attended a Luther college Bible conference with Bankson and Johnson as delegates. Seventeen confirmation children received Bibles as gifts from the congregation during Sunday evening services.
David Beck Pastor conducts Sunday School at 10:00 and worship at 11:00 A M S 6 45 P M S 7 30 Prayer Meeting Thursday Evening silent.
Free Mission Church and First Baptist Church announce service times. Mission Church lists Sunday School at 10, morning worship at 11, evening service at 7:30, with March 25 Ladies Aid meeting and Young People gathering. First Baptist promotes evangelistic services by Rev J H Tedder from March 12 to April (evangelist Bible teacher travel).
Minister E. E. Pengelly invites worshippers to 10:00 a.m. service and 11:00 a.m. Sunday School. The second sermon in the SELF series is planned. A Ladies Aid social Friday evening at the church will feature a program and lunch with St Patrick noted in the lineup.
The M. E. Church outlines a Family Day on the second Sunday of the Loyalty Campaign. Worship at 11:15 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. include a special morning family recognition with prizes: top family wins The Prairie and the Sea, second largest gets The Man Nobody Knows, third largest receives The Man Who Was Too Busy to Find the Child.
