Farm Ownership Loan Applications Still Welcome at Osceola Office

County FSA offices in Osceola continue accepting Farm Ownership loan applications under the Bankhead Jones Act though Nebraska’s 1945 46 allocation is nearly exhausted except for veteran earmarks. Nebraska’s $632 572 allocation supports about 54 loans this fiscal year, with 529 Nebraska families having obtained loans since 1945 46. Selection favors earlier received applications as funds are limited and eligibility and farm fitness must be reviewed by the county FSA committee.
