Soup Supper Raises Funds For Warren Bedient Fund
A Saturday soup supper and pancake feed by the United Methodist Jr. and Sr. MYF raised funds for the Warren Bedient Fund, netting $395.80 from about 450 meals plus a $33.30 candy booth. Donations from local firms and individuals boosted totals. Arborville and Polk area giving pushed overall funds to $4,512.35. A Community Club beef raffle and additional events aim to close the drive with many tickets printed.
