The rural consolidation for the March of Dimes Drive in east and west Pleasant Home precincts finished with $143.50 turned in. Publisher Perry Sapp Dies After Heart Attack
Perry N. Sapp former publisher of the Osceola Record Polk and Shelby papers died of a heart attack aged 59 on Feb 27 in Osceola. He was born July 3 1905 and later sold the Polk Shelby and Osceola papers retiring in 1957. He was survived by wife Eldena a brother and other relatives. Funeral services were Tuesday at First Methodist Church Osceola with burial in Osceola Cemetery.
