County Board Minutes Include Budget Transfers and Infrastructure Votes
The board approved transferring 2850.00 from Miscellaneous General Fund to Jail Fund for current year expenses. It authorized an irrigation line crossing county road between sections 26 and 35 and agreed to cover 40 percent of flood control dam costs on county road between Sections 19 and 30. Meeting adjourned at 3:00 pm with next session on July 5, 1977.

Fire at Merlin Guilford home and weddings planned
Firefighters from Central City battled a Merlin Guilford house blaze Thursday evening damaging the kitchen and basement. Elaine Skinner of Bena, daughter of Cleo and the late Vern Skinner, will marry Jim Edwards of Bend on July 8 at Central City Episcopal Church with an open house that night. Elaine plans to return home July 3 for family visits.
