Polk County Commission approves bids and pays witnesses in 1961 session
Osceola Nebraska June 19 1961 Polk County commissioners audit claims set warrants with payments to numerous individuals and firms including Sheriff Peterson and Treas Horst. They open bids for jail remodeling materials with Island Supply Co and Osceola Lumber Co bids accepted for steel and blocks while plumbing and heating bids are rejected due to insufficient architect data. Insurance policy for workers compensation is approved. The board adjourns to July 5 1961.
