Wheat substitute rules released for 1965 farm programs
Polk County Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation County Committee announced 1965 wheat and feed grain substitutions to add flexibility. Substitutions apply only to farms with wheat and feed grain bases and meet minimum diversion, with certificates issued to co operators but not increasing total certificates. Price support loans remain based on normal production and diverted acreage, with oats rye bases allowed but corn sorghum or barley not eligible substitutes.
