34 Children Complete Summer Reading Program

Former Polk Resident Bryan Anderson Dies in Wyoming

Funeral services for Bryan Anderson were held in Sheridan Wyoming on Friday with burial at Custer National Cemetery. He was a former Polk resident and brother of Mrs Anna Kisler and Mrs Richard Johnson.

Summer Recreation Fund Supports Local Youth Baseball

The community reports $408.23 raised for the recreation fund after a week of donations. Boys from midget and peewee teams will play a double header with Bradshaw, while girls softball teams meet Clarks on Wednesday. Previous totals include gifts from Reuben Anderson and others.

Mrs Alvina Reeb age 74 lifelong Polk resident died Friday at her Polk home from a cerebral hemorrhage.
