Twenty eight members of the local Odd Fellows Lodge traveled by chartered bus to a north Florence gathering of lodges. Blair Lodge conferred the first degree on four candidates in a natural amphitheatre while Omaha Lodge provided entertainment and refreshments. Mrs Ester Lackey noted her sister Mrs Henry Reiner of Omaha sustained a fractured hip in a fall at her home.
