Moberg Sentenced to Ten Years for Parole Violation
Lincoln youth Charles W. Moberg received a ten year penitentiary term from District Judge Yeager on a parole violation. Moberg had been paroled after his mother pleaded in Lincoln, later arrested in Omaha for attempting to intimidate Mrs. Carrie Acley, and jailed in police court for disturbing the peace and impersonating an officer.

Over one hundred miles of transmission lines are staked as the northern county area is cleared and staking proceeds north and east of Osceola. Contractor Sandberg operates from Stromsburg with a truck fleet and complete gear. A 15 man crew clears right of way and aims to start line construction August first. Seventeen carloads of poles and supplies head to Stromsburg and Osceola. up to 100 workers may join the project. Stromsburg Youth Injured After Being Struck by Car
Wilmur Johnson sixteen year old daughter of Carl Johnson living southwest of Stromsburg was struck and run down by an automobile near the Square last Wednesday evening. Henry Olson Jr. driver of Osceola was reported to have been traveling at speed when Johnson stepped into the path. The youth sustained a severe ear laceration along with other cuts and bruises.
