1969 Wheat Marketing Certificates Set at 1.52 Per Bushel
Domestic certificates for the 1969 crop will be worth 1.52 dollars per bushel, 14 cents above 1968. About 800 million dollars will be paid over three months to roughly 980 thousand farmers, based on 43 percent of 1969 acreage. The value reflects July 1 1969 parity of 2.77 and a loan rate of 1.25, with 75 cents covered by millers and the rest by government.
